TMUC-PRC Sign MoU to Promote Student Volunteerism
The Millennium University College (TMUC) and the Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) signed a landmark memorandum of understanding, on December 2, 2015 to establish a youth volunteers’ society at TMUC. Pakistan Red Crescent Society, a statuary body constituted and governed by a parliamentary Act in 1947, is one of the largest organizations working for humanitarian causes in the country. The MoU reflects on both institutions’ commitment to build awareness and a sense of responsibility amongst the youth towards the environment and their fellow citizens.
Vigil for the Martyred APS Students
The Millennial Community Service Center organized a vigil to pay tribute to the Students of the Army Pubic School Peshawar Who embraced martyrdom in a heinous terrorist attack on December 16, 2015. Students from all disciplines and staff members joined the occasion to make speeches and offer prayers for the lost souls. The students resolved to abstain from any antistatic activities and promote tolerance to combat terrorism.
